Finlay Fox Slippers

I love love love these slippers and I would never want to wear any other slippers ever. They make me really happy and my son get some many compliments when ppl come over.

However, I got these in February last year as a delayed Christmas present due to problems with sizing requiring us to 2 pairs back and forth.

Originally I had bought matching Shirley, the sheep for myself and my son, however it turns out that the advertise size 7-8 did not fit me, despite having worn this eyes for 30 years, and I had to instead buy the Finlay Fox 10 -11.

Finally, they arrived, and finally I was extremely happy with them.

However, the sole of the shoe started to fall off at the back for both my pair and my child’s & I had to stitch it back on.

We wore them a few months last year and again when this winter started but they are on their last legs. I have had to glue the ears back on, the soles have had to be re stitched twice, the nose has fallen off. It is heartbreaking! 💔

For £50 pounds a pair I would expect them to be better quality and certainly more durable in order to last more than 1 year!

As I would love to continue buying these I really really do hope that SHF will

1) fix the sizing! I have bought 4 pairs of these for small toddlers as presents and am unable to gift them as ridiculously small

2) make Shirley the sheep in an adult true 7-8 or 10-11 in SHF measurements, if that’s what we are going for?

3) check what is going on with the stitching of the sole as always come off at…

Bought as an alternative to 'badgers'. Was a bit concerned if foxy tail will be comfy, but my husband love them and told me it's as comfy as 'badgers'. He is rocking around the building wearing them and getting attention from neighbours, reception and delivery 😀
